This role is ideal for a mid-level professional or experienced junior who already has hands-on BI exposure and wants to grow deeper across MicroStrategy (Strategy One) and Power BI, while working with enterprise-scale data platforms in Azure.
You will contribute to the development, support, and evolution of BI solutions, working closely with business users, data engineers, and IT teams. Automation, performance tuning, and continuous learning will be central to your role — you’ll always have opportunities to make a meaningful impact on how data drives decision-making.

responsibilities :

Provide Support & Administration:
Provide support for BI solutions, addressing data inconsistencies, user issues, and performance problems
Perform administration of the MicroStrategy (Strategy One) platform, including user/role management, security configuration, object migration, monitoring and performance tuning
Maintain and monitor data refresh jobs, report schedules, and data quality across environments.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to manage incident resolution, change control, and release processes.
BI Development & Consulting
Design and develop efficient T-SQL scripts, stored procedures and SSIS packages in SQL Server for data transformation, analysis, and reporting needs.
Data modelling efforts within MicroStrategy/Power BI, including datasets, logical schema design, attribute/metric definitions, and schema objects optimisation.
Build, enhance, and support MicroStrategy/Power BI reports, dashboards, and schemas
Participate in solution design, data modelling, and best-practice implementation for BI initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business logic into data logic, and deliver impactful BI solutions.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, business-focused analytics

requirements-expected :

You’ll be hands-on with tools and platforms such as:
SQL Server & T-SQL in Azure ecosystem
Power BI
SSIS & ETL pipelines
Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Fabric)
Data warehousing and metadata management concepts
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 (ideally 3-5 years) of hands-on experience in BI or Data Engineering.
Proven skills in SQL Server, T-SQL, and enterprise-level data processing.
Solid knowledge of Power BI and/or MicroStrategy (Strategy One), both development and administration
Solid understanding of data warehousing (Kimball, Dimensional Model).
Experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and BI performance optimisation.
Understanding of BI best practices, including version control, deployment strategies, and data governance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience in stakeholder management and requirement gathering from non-technical business partners.
Knowledge of basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) for automation and data handling.
Ability to troubleshoot production issues and ensure high data reliability.
Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
