Your new roleAs an Analytics Solution Architect, you39ll be a key advisor on all BI-related matters, delivering state-of-the-art solutions that meet business needs. You39ll be responsible for shaping and maintaining the technical foundation of the company39s business intelligence and analytics landscape.  This role focuses on understanding the "why" behind business needs and defining the "how" for technical execution. You’ll advise on current BI challenges, support active projects, and shape long-term strategy. Your work ensures scalable, compliant, and future-ready analytics solutions that deliver valuable insights and power key business applications  

Main responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor on BI and analytics across the organization, supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Own selected BI services, ensuring operational performance, support, and continuous business value.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced Business Intelligence solutions that meet the highest technical and business standards, including the design and implementation of ETL/ELT processes. 
• Define and enforce architectural standards and governance within the BI domain.
• Act as the Technical Product Owner for BI and analytics services, focusing on the "what" needs to be built and "why" it delivers value, managing the technical backlog and ensuring the solution39s health and evolution
• Participate in BI projects from start to finish, ensuring technical alignment and coherence.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for BI and analytics capabilities, identifying trends and proposing innovative solutions that can enhance data utilization and drive business value in the long term.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and practices that strengthen the organization’s data and analytics maturity.
• Oversee data lifecycle management, including upgrades, feature enhancements, and decommissioning of outdated tools, preparing for future evolutions. 

What you39ll need to succeed:

• Microsoft BI Expertise: Advanced skills in SSAS (Tabular & Multidimensional) and SQL Server for data modeling and optimization.
• ETL/ELT Development: Proficient in SSIS for building and optimizing complex data pipelines.
• Data Modeling & Warehousing: Strong knowledge of database design and methodologies (Kimball, Inmon).
• Scalable Solution Design: Experience in building scalable, compliant analytics solutions.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiar with Azure and Microsoft Fabric for modern BI architecture.
• Business Understanding: Deep insight into business processes and their data implications.
• Analytics Architecture: Skilled in designing BI platforms that support data-driven decisions.
• Data Governance: Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GxP, GDPR) and data lifecycle management.
• Business Requirement Translation: Ability to convert business needs into efficient technical BI solutions (e.g., Power BI).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience as Technical/IT Owner working with diverse teams.
• Agile & DevOps: Familiar with agile delivery and DevOps in data environments.
• Team Mentorship: Support and mentor developers in BI best practices and code quality.
• Education: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong team player, skilled in building effective relationships across technical and non-technical teams
• Communication: Clear, adaptable communicator with the ability to engage diverse audiences
