Job Description:

Boeing Poland is currently seeking a BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplanes) Customer Support Service Engineer Airframe - 737NG/737 MAX , based out of Rzeszow, Poland .

The successful candidate will provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, applying basic knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout production and/or for technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer. You will analyze, conduct root cause analysis, and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Receive and respond to requests from airlines and repair organizations for technical support of Boeing airplanes. Provide a quick and appropriate response that meets the Safety-First principle.
2. Disposition repair, design repair plan, provide jacking and shoring instructions, analyze reported problems for potential safety issues, provide No Technical Objection (NTO) for ferry flights/flight tests, etc.
3. Apply knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.
4. Apply engineering principles to research technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and design interim and final engineering solutions.
5. Identify, document, analyze reported problems, and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommend and manage resolution.
6. Develop and implement product/process improvements.
7. Represent the engineering community in the build through post-production environment.
8. Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
9. Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
10. Analyze damage repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking and shoring, prevent collateral damage, and assure a safe work environment.
11. Work under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Rzeszow, Poland.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

1. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
2. 1+ years in aircraft structure, materials, properties, and design criteria.
3. 1+ years of experience in working within airline maintenance and/or engineering departments.
4. Fluent in both written and verbal English.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

1. Higher Education Diploma in Aerospace/Aviation Engineering.
2. Experienced in reading and understanding engineering models, drawings, and specifications.
3. Experienced in researching engineering designs to develop defect solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues.
4. Experience/Familiarity with structural design principles for aircraft primary structures (e.g. corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, and repair techniques).
5. Ability to travel about 10% of work time.

Typical Education:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
