About the project

We are looking to hire a Business Central Advisor/Consultant to support Microsoft Business Central users in their daily work, as well as participate in platform development and the implementation of new functionalities. This role includes both ongoing operational support and active participation in improvements and automations.

Your responsibilities

  • Configure, implement and maintain Business Central for our company: set up companies, users/permissions, master data, financials, sales/purchasing/inventory
  • Migrate legacy data and ensure correct data mapping and balances
  • Configure financials, chart of accounts, posting groups, journal and bank/payment processing, accounts payable/receivable
  • Manage sales, purchasing and inventory workflows — orders, invoicing, shipping/receiving, returns, pricing and discounts
  • Customize UI, reports and workflows; integrate Business Central with Microsoft 365 / Office / Power Platform where needed
  • Support business teams (finance, sales, purchasing, operations) — ensure system supports business processes smoothly and efficiently

Our requirements

  • Experience with ERP or business processes involving finance, sales, purchasing or inventory
  • Strong accounting / financial management understanding (GL, payables/receivables, bank/cash, reporting)
  • Ability to migrate data and maintain data integrity during transition
  • Experience with user/role/permission management in enterprise systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Office tools and willingness to work with integrated apps (Excel, Outlook, Power BI etc.)
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills

Optional

  • Experience with workflows and business process automation
  • Reporting and analytics experience (Power BI, Excel, custom reports).
  • Previous ERP implementation
  • Ability to handle multiple modules (finance, sales, purchasing, inventory) and adapt to evolving requirements
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot and support the system long-term
