Our team focuses on improving developer experience (DX) and productivity within a large Java/C++ monorepo by building and maintaining essential tooling and libraries in Python. We develop solutions that enable hundreds of active developers to work seamlessly in a shared codebase. Our responsibilities span a wide range of tools, including custom compilers, formatters, VS Code plugins, Jenkins CI/CD infrastructure, and web-based tooling integrated with Bitbucket for streamlined PR management. Additionally, we have developed and maintain our own open-source code testing library.

Team distributed between Europe, and Asia. The direct project manager is based in the UK.

Designing intuitive tools and libraries that enhance developer productivity.
Optimizing and integrating tools like Git, VS Code, Bitbucket, and Jenkins for large-scale codebases.
Debugging complex issues with no readily available solutions.
Ensuring our tooling is robust and low-maintenance, minimizing support overhead.
Effectively planning and managing tasks in a fast-paced development environment.
requirements-expected :
Experience in developing solutions around building tools, maintaining CI/CD, and other aspects of SDLC
While experience with Bazel is important, we’re also open to candidates with a strong background in other build tools and a willingness to learn
Practical knowledge of at least one build tool other then Bazel is required
Candidate should know well at least one ecosystem preferably C++ (JVM, .Net, Rust, GoLang, NPM etc.)
Communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
Ability to work as a part of a team
Pro-active approach to problem-solving, without hesitation in reaching out for help
Being self-driven and self-managing tasks
Being open to speaking publicly, writing a blog post, and generally interacting with developers is a solid plus, as well as strong multitasking skills. Willingness to mentor and teach other is also welcome
