Recruitment process

Stage 1 : Phone call with {skills} matter recruiter (15-30 min)

Stage 2 : Online meeting with manager (60 min)

Your daily tasks

• Working with the Lending team based in Warsaw/Budapest while closely collaborating as part of the wider Global lending team to drive consistency and controls of processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financials.
• Preparing and recording financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes. Reviewing financial disclosures and variance analysis commentaries.
• Managing ongoing communication and P&L/B/S reviews with relevant business partners and key stakeholders, directly impacting leadership in multiple processes through responsibility for delivery of end results leading to business solutions.
• Driving improvements to the control infrastructure (reducing the number of adjustments through DCRM, driving data quality issues, and EUCs elimination) and adherence to the Manager Control Assessment policies and procedures.
• Identifying continuous opportunities for Finance synergies and driving changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Participating/leading ad-hoc projects that arise relating to further streamlining (or retirement) of existing systems or assisting in the introduction of new systems.
• Working closely with various areas of the Finance department, liaising with the Trading Desk, Risk Management, Operations, Middle Office, and IT teams.
• Using effective escalation to ensure issues are highlighted in a timely manner. Focusing on recurring issues and driving through enhancement projects and systems fixes.
• Supporting standardization efforts and working on strategic as well as ad-hoc projects to improve Citi’s Product Control system infrastructure and implement process improvement ideas.
• Developing an enquiring and questioning mindset.

• Using your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performance.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Finance (Banking or SSC working experience) and/or Accounting (US GAAP preferred).
• ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
• Project Management and/or contribution to Project/Program Testing Cycles are advantages.
• Commitment to people-oriented leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
