BACKUP ENGINEER

As a Recruitment Agency, we are looking for candidates who prefer to develop in the automotive industry. Our Client (one of the largest companies in this sector) is looking for a BACKUP ENGINEER.

Location: Łódź

Possibility to work from home

Annual Salary: 150.000-225.000 gross

What you will do:

1. Ensure operations to provide backup and storage services to business and support other IT teams.
2. Lead a team of backup and storage professionals working together on in-scope areas with a multi-cultural background.
3. Ensure successful implementation of projects and tasks assigned to the team while working closely with the project manager.
4. Analyze and improve global system performance, resource usage, backup success rate, and operational processes; monitor and report capabilities.
5. Facilitate seamless communication with business and IT colleagues based on the team’s strategy and responsibilities.
6. Work with compliance and audit teams to fulfill various compliance and audit requests.

What you need:

1. 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure operations.
2. 2 years of experience managing a multi-cultural team.
3. Familiarity with ITIL (service management, incident management, change management, etc.).
4. Basic knowledge of storage and backup, especially with EMC products and Commvault as a backup solution.
5. Ability to follow up on topics, tasks, projects, and backlogs continuously.
6. Collaboration and communication skills; project management experience is a plus.
7. Communicative level of English.
