## For additional information, please review .The Background Screening Escalations Lead is a management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to drive Background Screening management policies, processes and procedures to minimize risk within the onboarding workflow in coordination with the Talent Acquisition Operations team. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in other areas related to sensitive screening matters. The overall objective of this role is to manage risk exposure to Citi by ensuring analysts make appropriate decisions using risk/reward balance methodology.* Lead Screening Management projects, and manage a component of the Screening escalation process.* Contribute to the development of Screening management policies, processes, procedures, tactics and strategies.* Manage Screening case volumes, advise or coach new or lower-level personnel, and ensure analysts make appropriate decisions.* Identify Screening detection issues at the strategy and portfolio level and provide analytical/modeling solutions.* Participate in the execution of change management initiatives and monitor the execution of operational objectives and goals.* Manage authorization detection strategies to mitigate Screening risk and ensure actions balance risk/reward and are customer centric.* Prioritize and plan detection projects in conjunction with Screening management policies and strategies.* Conduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members as well as maintain appropriate staffing requirements* Monitor the team’s quality and efficiency of end results and manage all training and development needs of assigned personnel.* 6-10 years of experience in a related role.* Senior level experience in a similar position preferred.* Ability to manage teams.* Expert in the subject of at least one area of the function.* Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.* Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment* Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience* Employer paid Defined Contribution Pension Plan contribution of 6% of employee’s pensionable earnings (PPE Program)* Employer paid Private Medical Care Package for employees and Private Medical Care Packages for certain family members available at preferential rates* Employer paid Life Insurance Program for employees and Life Insurance for certain family members available at preferential rates* Employee Assistance Program financed by Employer* Paid Parental Leave Program (maternity and paternity leave; statutory and 2 weeks additional paid paternity leave)* Sport Card for employees subsidised via Social Benefits Fund and Sport Cards for certain family members available at preferential rates* Additional benefits from Company’s Social Benefit Fund, in particular: Holidays Allowance, support for sport and cultural activities, team building events.* Additional day off for volunteering* Cafeteria/ flex benefit – a company benefits system which enables employees to select and purchase benefits offered by a provider and available for employees on the platform.* Opportunity to receive an annual discretionary incentive award* Special offers and discounts for employees
