Backend Software Engineer with Java, Quarkus & Dapr (f/m/x)

Expected

We are looking for a Software Engineer who will contribute to the development and maintenance of modern backend applications and cloud-native microservices.

You will join a team delivering a project in the construction and building materials industry, working on distributed services running in a containerized environment. The team operates with automated CI/CD pipelines and established cloud-native practices.

This role involves daily work with Java, Quarkus, and Dapr to build scalable and resilient solutions.

• Designing and developing backend microservices using Java and Quarkus
• Applying cloud-native best practices such as configuration externalization and stateless services
• Implementing synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns (REST/gRPC, pub/sub, events)
• Building cloud-native services using Dapr sidecars and building blocks
• Defining and maintaining Dapr component configurations for various backends
• Collaborating on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, observability, and security topics
