For our client, a global manufacturer of advanced industrial machinery, we are looking for a Backend Software Developer (Java/Spring Boot).
responsibilities :
Develop, maintain, and enhance modern backend services based on Java and Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure secure, scalable integrations, leveraging Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming.
Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, MS SQL), including writing efficient queries and basic performance tuning.
Collaborate with other backend developers and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure code quality through testing, CI/CD integration, and proper documentation.
Support development for the e-connect portal, focusing on backend microservices and data integration.
requirements-expected :
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
2–4 years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure Pipelines experience is a plus).
Proficiency with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and team-oriented mindset.
Good command of English; German is an advantage.
