Backend (Fullstack) Engineer

You will join a global IT consulting company that specialises in transformational management and technology. After joining the organisation, you will be supporting their clients from the banking industry, in particular in the cybersecurity area. Your expertise will help the client to build digital solutions that will allow customers to bank quickly, simply and securely.

Work is in a hybrid model in an office based in Kraków 

You will be responsible for:

• Taking part in a well-established initiative that enhances application security throughout the company by overseeing security scans and managing related vulnerabilities
• Developing and launching new services
• Translating and enhancing business requirements
• Boosting service performance in your assigned area
• Conducting peer code reviews
• Managing Jenkins pipelines
• Integrating third-party applications
• Maintaining Helm charts
• Designing new features and supporting architects
• Implementing changes to applications using DevSecOps and ITIL change management processes

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Python, with solid knowledge of FastAPI, async programming, SQLAlchemy, and pytest
• Intermediate SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with design patterns
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with GCP, AWS or Azure Cloud
• Experience in a DevSecOps team
• Fluent English
