Backend Developer PL/SQL in Business Intelligence System Developer/Programmer
Work mode: hybrid work -Gliwice
Compensation: 110 – 130 PLN/h net (+ VAT)
Contract type: B2B, through Hays Poland
English: min. B2
Required: System Developer/Programmer - experience required, Oracle PL/SQL
We are now looking for an experienced and driven Backend Developer with extensive experience in Oracle and PL/SQL. You will have the opportunity to work with an advanced system built in PL/SQL that handles large transaction volumes with a focus on calculations and transformations to ensure accurate financial reporting and follow-up for both internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will:
- Together with the team, be responsible central reporting and settlement system, which handles large volumes of transactions with high accuracy requirements.
- Work with Oracle PL/SQL alongside the team to continuously develop, maintain, and adapt the system in line with business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with other experienced developers and stakeholders.
- Contribute your experience and expertise to design data models and build high-performance solutions to ensure quality and performance.
- Apply relevant design principles suitable for a financial reporting and settlement system.
- Ensure data quality, security, data integrity, and performance, and implement automated validation processes.
- Be involved in migrating the current system to the next-generation solution, where we are exploring how cloud technologies can add value, and you can be part of this transition with the right interest.
The team's mission is to ensure the financial flow for gaming products online and in-store. Within the team, we work according to agile principles with support from roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, and we follow a modern agile working method. You will be part of our larger Business Intelligence team.

We see that you are experienced, driven, curious, and solution-oriented. You are a team player who sees knowledge sharing as a natural path to learning for yourself and others. You understand the importance of actively contributing to continuous improvements in code and working methods and keeping your own skills up to date. You have good communication skills and express yourself in English. We prefer that you have a relevant college or university education or equivalent competence and experience in:
- Extensive experience in advanced development in Oracle PL/SQL min. 4 years of experience
- Deep knowledge of how Oracle as a database works to optimize and design effectively.
- Handling large data volumes with a focus on transformations and quality, preferably with a financial focus.
- Agile teamwork.
- Understanding of AWS and the possibilities cloud services can bring.
- Knowledge of data architecture, design, and data modeling principles.
- Experience in transaction-intensive operations with high reliability, testing, quality, security, and performance requirements.
Meritorious:
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Solace.
- Understanding of cloud architecture and the value it can bring in the long term.
