About the project
We’re looking for a Node.js Developer to join our international, cross-functional team. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop and maintain backend services that power our platform. This role offers the opportunity to build scalable, high-performance systems and collaborate on projects that make a tangible difference.
Location: 100% remote (EU-based)

Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic
- Develop and optimize GraphQL APIs for various client applications
- Implement and manage AWS services to enhance scalability and performance
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Our requirements
- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer with a strong project portfolio
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with GraphQL and related frameworks
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Optional
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Terraform)
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies and frameworks
