Bwinners is a leading digital betting platform in West Africa, operating in Gambia, Sierra Leone, Senegal, and beyond. With over 1,500 employees and a rapidly growing international footprint, we’re now opening a new engineering hub in Kraków to rebuild our core systems using modern technologies.
This is a greenfield project — you’ll join early, help shape the architecture, and build scalable backend systems from scratch — without the burden of legacy code.
The Opportunity We’re looking for Backend Developers (Mid and Senior levels) with solid experience in Node.js to join our Kraków team. Experience with Golang is a strong plus, as some of our services are being developed in Go as well. You’ll work alongside frontend engineers, DevOps, and product managers to build the backbone of our next-generation betting platform.
responsibilities :
Design and implement backend services using Node.js
Work on services written in Go (if applicable)
Contribute to architectural decisions and clean code practices
Collaborate across teams to deliver full-stack features
Integrate with databases (PostgreSQL) and external services
Help define backend standards and best practices
requirements-expected :
Strong experience with Node.js
Bonus: experience with Golang
Understanding of backend architecture and system design
Familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
Fluent English and clear communication skills
Bonus: experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments (GCP)
