We are seeking Backend Developer specializing in mobile applications to join our team.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that support our industry-leading mobile products.

Your daily duties will include collaborating closely with Product Owners, iOS Advisors, and Designers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

You will implement and uphold microservices architecture with comprehensive API design and documentation, ensuring adherence to established development processes and engineering standards.

Additionally, you will monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, playing a key role in maintaining the highest standards of our backend infrastructure.

Our requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing scalable backend applications and APIs
• Proficiency with backend frameworks and technologies such as Node.js, Express, NestJS, or similar
• Strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript and modern backend development patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Firestore
• Solid knowledge of database design with experience in both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Firestore, MongoDB) databases
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and API documentation
• Ability to write unit tests following best practices for clean and effective testing
• Capability to define and implement software development best practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within remote teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
