TapNav  is a software R&D company based in London, UK and Wrocław, Poland. Our mission is to transform how people live their digital lives by making web usage more private and more convenient. We apply our privacy and search patent portfolio to building innovative products, including Karma Browser and TapNav search augmentation engine.

Your role

• Building backend ecosystem for TapNav products including web and mobile solutions
• Writing clean, quality and performance optimised code
• Applying your Node.js knowledge to creating data pipelines and web services
• Using state-of-the-art, latest releases of frameworks and libraries
• Having meaningful impact on the project: analysing requirements, functional specifications, and recommending improvements
• Closely collaborating with DevOps, QA and Frontend/Mobile client teams

Qualifications

• Experience in backend development using TypeScript with Node.js
• Experience with relational as well as NoSQL databases
• Good understanding of REST APIs
• Good understanding of systems design
• Desirable knowledge: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Redis, ExpressJS
• Good spoken and written English
