Check Point, a leading Cybersecurity company, is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join the Customer Focus Team for the Harmony Endpoint product.
Harmony Endpoint offers a versatile approach to prevent cyberattacks and manage the security of corporate devices, safeguarding millions of endpoints across thousands of organizations.
As a Harmony Endpoint Backend Developer, you will investigate and handle complex cases reported by worldwide customers, providing solutions to their problems.
You will collaborate with international teams and customers, with main R&D peers located in Belarus, Israel, Poland, and Sweden.
This role offers an opportunity to gain professional experience, work with cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to the success of our customers in the cybersecurity domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and handle complex cases reported by worldwide customers.
- Provide solutions for customer problems related to Harmony Endpoint products.
- Collaborate with international teams and customers.
- Contribute to the development of new tools and features for the product.
- Work on problem-solving, quality enhancements, and bug-hunting tasks.
- Learn and share knowledge with teammates.
- Explore and master the field of cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Java Development experience.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design.
- Proficiency in Java Core, Concurrency, and Multithreading.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and ORM Technologies (Hibernate).
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Interest in the cybersecurity domain.
- Experience with node.js and/or React (advantageous).
- Experience with shell scripts and Linux administration (advantageous).
- Experience with network protocols and security (advantageous).
- Experience with PostgreSQL DB (advantageous).
- Experience with Script Boot, AspectJ, and JPA (advantageous).
- Experience with Java build tools – Maven, Ant (advantageous).
- Candidates will be required to complete a 3-task Codility test in Java language.
