• Design and Development: Develop and maintain high-quality back-end architecture that supports user-facing features. Implement server-side logic and functionality using best practices in coding languages such as Java, Kotlin, and Scala.
• Database management: Design and maintain database schemas that efficiently store, retrieve, and manipulate data. Work with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• API Design and Development: Create and manage well-designed, scalable, and secure APIs to integrate front-end UI with the server-side.
• Performance optimization: Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. Address and improve any technical issues.
• Testing and debugging: Write and implement robust tests. Use debugging tools to ensure robust and bug-free code.
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation for software solutions and systems to support future development projects and upgrades.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Programming Skills: Strong coding skills in one or more JVM backend languages (e.g., Java, Scala, Kotlin).
• Framework Knowledge: Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring, Rails, Express).
• Database Skills: Understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
• API Skills: Understanding and managing RESTful APIs.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in consulting is a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Plus: Any additional experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Cloud.
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit in the office per quarter.
