Hi!

We are looking for an experienced back-end developer to join our US-based start-up HeyDaily (with

the backing of top investors like Sequoia). We offer a fast-paced environment with the ability for quick

promotions.



A few words about our project:

HeyDaily enables influencers to deliver exclusive SMS messages (text, voice notes, images, videos)

to subscribed fans. We handle the payments, landing page, and distribution through SMS. Influencers

create bite-sized content (videos, images, text, voice notes) and send it through their app. The

subscribers receive it as SMS and have a link to view media, which needs to be extremely mobile

friendly (media could be set to disappear, think Snapchat in the browser).



Salary: PLN 14,000-24,000 net (B2B) + shares



Headquarters: Warsaw/NYC (WeWork), (optional remote work).



Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging;
2. Troubleshoot and debug applications;
3. Build high-quality reusable code for future use;
4. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic;
5. Gather and address technical and design requirements;
6. Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features;

1. 3+ years of experience in JAVA;
2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science;
3. Analytical skills;
4. AWS experience;
5. Experience in building smart applications with multiple services and APIs;
6. Assist in designing databases to manage our data;
7. Experience with SMS distribution systems (Twilio) - optional;
8. Experience with Stripe API - optional;
9. Experience creating user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
