We’re looking for a Senior Back-end Developer to join the project team of one of our clients. The client offers a next-generation supply chain platform focused on visibility and collaboration, powered by trusted analytics and AI. It supports complex operations, especially in life sciences, ensuring integrity and efficiency.
responsibilities :
Design and develop scalable back-end systems in Java and Kotlin.
Build microservices using Spring Boot and Gradle.
Manage databases with PostgreSQL, SQL, and Liquibase.
Integrate services using Kafka, gRPC, and Protobuf.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues using DataDog.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a Scrum environment.
Ensure code quality and clear documentation.
Mentor junior developers and support team growth.
Work in a hybrid model based in Łódź.
requirements-expected :
At least 5 years of experience in back-end development, with a proven record of designing and maintaining scalable, secure systems.
Familiarity with Scrum methodology.
Proficiency in tools like Jira (task tracking), Confluence (documentation), and GitHub (version control).
Experience working in international teams or dynamic environments requiring quick adaptation to changing priorities.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for back-end development.
Expertise in SQL and PostgreSQL for database management.
Experience with Gradle as a build tool for microservices.
Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator for creating scalable back-end systems.
Hands-on experience with messaging and streaming tools like Kafka.
Proficiency in Protobuf and gRPC for efficient service communication.
Skilled in database schema management with Liquibase.
Familiarity with TimeStream for event-based data management.
Expertise in monitoring and application performance tools like DataDog.
