Are you a seasoned back-end developer with a passion for crafting scalable and secure solutions for the next generation of Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) projects? Your role

• As part of the R&D department you will be focusing on developing next generation solutions for Industrial Internet of Things (IoT)
• More specifically you will work on the back-end development of several IT-projects: database design and optimization, communication protocols, etc. both for new initiatives as continuous
• improvement of existing solutions
• You will participate in the functional and technical design of the project together with our platform Architect and our UX/UI designer
• You will develop automated tests together with our Testing & QA department
• You keep an eye on the latest technological improvements and work together with the other backend developers and with our platform Architect

Our perfect profile

• Minimum of 4 years experience in a professional environment for web development
• You are fluent in English communication
• You feel comfortable in leading and managing development projects and concepts
• You understand how to develop high-quality, secure, scalable and maintainable products
• Strong competence and interest in developing back-end applications with Python
• You have a decent knowledge of SQL and NOSQL database administration
• Knowledge in building REST API with FastAPI is an asset
• Experience in modern, agile and lean software development, using tools as Gitlab
• Experience with Test Driven Development and testing automation tools
• We are Linux lovers. Familiarity working on a Linux environment is a plus
