We are seeking a highly experienced Azure DevOps Engineer on behalf of our client to join to the leader from the largest Swiss financial holding company.
requirements-expected :
Overall 6+ years of IT experience including 4+ years of experience developing Java applications (Spring framework would be a plus)
Solid SQL database skills (ideally Oracle and experience working with Mongo DB would be a plus)
Should be able to develop and maintain Java based applications
Should be able to drive continuous integration and improvements
Should be able to drive architecture, standards and guidelines for a globally deployed software solution
Familiar with DevOps tools, such as Git, GitLab Pipelines, Nexus, Ansible, RPM packaging would be beneficial
Familiarity with MS Azure Cloud platforms and knowledge of Databricks, Denodo would be beneficial
Comfortable in a Linux based server environment incl. bash (shell) scripting
Good understanding of all aspects of the application development (SDLC) and support life cycle
Well-developed business communication skills – both written and verbal and experience working as part of a global team
Strong personal prioritization and time management
Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)
Knowledge of UBS SDLC platforms and processes including as REX (release executor); the RFC process and GSNOW/Atlas shall be preferred.
