We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Data Engineer (Data Ingestion & ETL/ELT) with strong expertise in Azure cloud data services to join a remote, multinational development team of our Partner. You will be responsible for delivering several end-to-end data ingestions into the Group Data Platform, including classification follow-up, lineage tracking, data quality checks, and production incident support.

responsibilities :
Manage several data ingestions from different source systems into the Group Data Platform.
Ensure full end-to-end delivery of ingestion activities, including classification follow-up, lineage follow-up, and production incident management.
Operate within a dedicated product team and handle ingestion assignments from the Product Owner.
Interact with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the ingestion lifecycle.
Provide regular progress reports on all assigned ingestion tasks.
requirements-expected :
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks, including SSIS-based ETL/ELT pipelines
Fluency with ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and PostgreSQL
Proficiency with metadata-driven ingestion and data quality engines
Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning for MLOps and model deployment
Experience with Azure Event Hub for streaming ingestion
Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation
Experience with custom ingestion frameworks built on ADF and Databricks
Familiarity with ARM templates and Infrastructure-as-Code
Strong understanding of monitoring and logging for ingestion pipelines
Awareness of GDPR compliance, data classification, and pseudonymization practices
