Location

STX Next is seeking an eager to learn Azure Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of infrastructure operations and automation of processes in production environments. The person in this position will collaborate with software development teams and the IT department to ensure system performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and managing tools for CI/CD process automation.
• Configuring, monitoring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (Azure).
• Ensuring infrastructure security through the implementation of best practices and security tools.
• Optimizing system performance and scalability.
• Collaborating with software development teams to automate software development processes.
• Creating and maintaining documentation related to configuration and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Azure certification is a must-have for this role, demonstrating a solid understanding of the platform and its best practices. We value candidates who have invested in their professional growth through certification.
• Proficiency in Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies and services: Azure VMs, Azure Storage, VNETs, Resource Manager, Azure SQL, Traffic Manager, App Service, AKS.
• Proficiency in Azure networking and connectivity.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory / Entra, MFA.
• Initial experience translating business requirements / problems into technical architectures utilizing Azure and complementary technologies.
• Working experience managing AKS clusters.
• Experience in deployment and migration of various workloads to Azure.
• Proficiency using one of the IaC solutions (Terraform, Bicep).
• Knowledge of Python is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of AWS is also an advantage.
