Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Develop and execute comprehensive Azure cloud adoption strategies, designing enterprise-scale architectures that support helicopter operations, maintenance workflows, and global fleet management
Legacy System Migration: Lead the assessment, planning, and execution of migrating on-premises legacy systems to native Azure services, including infrastructure, applications, and data platforms
Infrastructure Design: Architect highly available, disaster-resilient Azure environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, supporting mission-critical aviation operations across multiple regions
Security Framework: Design and implement comprehensive cloud security architectures including Zero Trust models, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks aligned with aviation industry regulations
Application Modernization: Guide the transformation of monolithic applications to cloud-native microservices architectures using Azure container services, serverless computing, and API-first designs
Cost Optimization: Develop and implement cost governance frameworks, right-sizing strategies, and Azure resource optimization to maximize ROI during the digital transformation
DevOps Integration: Establish CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code practices to accelerate deployment cycles and improve operational efficiency
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, operations teams, and IT management to align cloud initiatives with helicopter operations requirements and strategic business objectives
Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging Azure services and cloud technologies to continuously enhance our aviation technology stack
Team Leadership: Mentor cloud engineers and developers, establishing best practices and architectural standards across the organization

Required Experience
8+ years of enterprise architecture experience with 5+ years focused on Azure cloud platforms
Proven track record of successfully migrating complex on-premises infrastructures to Azure, preferably in regulated industries
Experience with large-scale digital transformation initiatives, including legacy system modernization and colocation-to-cloud migrations
Strong background in enterprise application architecture, data architecture, and integration patterns
Hands-on experience with Azure Well-Architected Framework and enterprise-scale landing zones
