We have a newly started project that requires an Azure expert with hands-on experience in AKS and containerized applications. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and other containerized workloads.

The client is US EST time zone.

Azure AKS Expert - Cloud Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, management, and scaling of containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Configure and maintain Azure Container Services (ACS) and other Azure cloud resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient containerized solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance of Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Participate in the early-stage project setup, providing hands-on expertise for architecture and operational excellence.

Our requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure, especially AKS and containerized applications.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking, and security.
• Experience with Docker and deploying microservices in a cloud environment.
• Solid experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, greenfield project.
• Knowledge of ACS (Azure Container Service).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and cloud-native logging.
• Experience in financial, pharmaceutical, or technology projects.
