As our AWS Engineer, you’ll be essential in supporting Solutions30 Group cloud-first approach by ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our AWS infrastructure. Working closely with the AWS Architect, you’ll help maintain robust IT systems, assist with cloud migration, and ensure compliance with security standards such as NIS2 and ISO/IEC 27001.
responsibilities :
Security & Compliance: Implement Solutions30 security policies across AWS systems, collaborating to address security risks and ensure compliance with NIS2 and ISO 27001 standards.
System Maintenance: Manage and update IT systems, networks (inc. firewalls) and AWS environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
Issue Resolution: Monitor systems for errors and suspicious activities, addressing issues promptly and assisting with technical support tickets via JIRA.
Cloud Optimization: Support the migration and optimization of cloud infrastructure, including legacy system migrations.
Monitoring & Insights: Implement and manage monitoring solutions to proactively detect issues and improve system performance insights.

System Administration Expertise: Strong experience in managing Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments, particularly within AWS. Windows system administration skills is an asset.
Database & Network Management: Proficiency in managing databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL), networks, and OS security, ensuring robust and stable infrastructure.
Security Frameworks: Familiarity with NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001, and best practices for securing cloud systems.
Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development, IT, and security teams.
Languages: English (professional fluency); French is an asset.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in system administration, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on AWS.
Cloud Project Support: Proven experience in supporting cloud migration and optimizing AWS infrastructure.
