For our client we are looking for people to fill the position of AWS Engineer.

What we expect

• Advanced knowledge of AWS, including EC2, EKS, ECR,S3, KMS, VPC, SageMaker and CloudWatch.
• Experience in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD and Jenkins
• Experience on Kafka setup, mirrormaker, and TLS/MTLS
• Experience in Kubernetes

Your tasks

• Managing and maintaining core AWS services, including EC2, EKS, ECR,S3, KMS, VPC, SageMaker and CloudWatch.
• Network configuration within AWS VPC, managing security groups, subnets and transit gateways, and using AWS CloudWatch to monitor and ensure system health and performance.
• Deploying and managing Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance, using Kafka MirrorMaker to replicate data and synchronisebetween data centres.
• Security responsibilities include incorporating mutual TLS/SSL authentication and channel encryption for Kafka communications.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, creating and managing reusable Terraform modules for AWS resources.
• Additional responsibilities include managing containerised workloads using Kubernetes (EKS), implementing and troubleshooting service mesh solutions using Istio, and maintaining and optimising ECR image management.
• Configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD and Jenkins, and automating deployments to ensure efficient and flawless delivery of new features and updates
