As AWS Cloud Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliable delivery of NAVBLUE solutions. You will leverage your platform expertise, contribute to automation initiatives, and play a key role in monitoring and resolving failure events. This is an exciting opportunity to define, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable cloud-based infrastructure within AWS. This includes fostering a hosting network, representing the Hosting Group in various "Trains" (Agile teams), and coordinating technical architecture decisions related to hosting. Champion the reliability of our systems through platform expertise, proactive monitoring, and efficient resolution of any issues that arise. Drive automation, including Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management, to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Optimize Costs: Monitor and report on hosting costs, actively defining and tracking cost optimization actions with stakeholders. Lead technological watch, managing our Hosting Tech Radar, investigating new AWS offerings, and experimenting with emerging solutions to host NAVBLUEs future innovations. Solid experience (3+ years) in designing and building secure solutions within Public-Cloud (preferably AWS). Public-Cloud Certification: At least one Public-Cloud Associate Certification is required; additional certifications are a significant asset. (AWS Solution Architect Associate - or similar) Networking Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of networking principles for enterprise environments. Additional Skills (an asset): Working knowledge of networking, shell scripting, databases, DNS, XML. AWS Ecosystem: various AWS services and environments. Linux and MS Windows Operating Systems. Linux Core: RedHat OS systems (Kernel, Modules & Dependencies). Windows Administration: Windows domain administration, patch management, IIS management, and Group Policies.
