We’re hiring an experienced AWS Cloud Architect for our client a USA-based AWS Advanced Tier Consulting Partner specializing in cloud migration, application modernization, and data analytics. You’ll support a variety of cloud-native projects, helping enterprise clients modernize their infrastructure and remove technical debt.
responsibilities :
Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS tailored to business needs
Lead cloud infrastructure design using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Define cloud strategy, best practices, and architecture standards for new and existing systems
Collaborate with engineering teams, and business leaders to translate requirements into robust cloud architectures
Oversee the implementation of cloud-native services and technologies, ensuring alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework
Guide and support DevOps teams in building efficient CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Provide technical leadership in designing containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
Ensure cost-optimization, operational excellence, and security across all AWS environments
Evaluate new AWS services and technologies, driving innovation and continuous improvement
requirements-expected :
7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design, primarily on AWS (experience with GCP or Azure is a plus)
Deep knowledge of AWS services, cloud design patterns, and architectural best practices
Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), automation, and cloud-native design
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Golang, or Node.js
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
Background in building CI/CD solutions and DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in Agile environments
Ability to lead architectural discussions, review solutions, and guide development teams through implementation
