The project revolves around an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform aimed at automating manufacturing operations. Its core function is to interface with industrial machinery, gather telemetry data, and transform it into actionable insights.

This is a "closed open source" solution—distributed to clients free of licensing fees. Our team builds custom features on top of the platform, with many of these enhancements reintegrated into the core product, creating mutual value for both the platform and individual client projects.

The platform is split into two key components:

Data Platform – Powered by Databricks, it supports highly scalable, end-to-end ETL pipelines, complete with automation and quality checks. It offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools like Azure Databricks, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.

IIoT Platform – Focused on seamless connectivity with industrial devices and data protocols.

The team’s responsibilities include:

Working with native Azure services like Service Bus, EventHub, and IoT Hub.

Utilizing IoT protocols and standards such as OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, S7, and developing for IoT Edge.

Integrating with ERP systems like SAP MII and SAP S4Hana.

Developing AI/ML-powered modules using Azure OpenAI and anomaly detection technologies.

Managing end-to-end delivery processes via DevOps practices—automating infrastructure with Terraform and deploying through Azure DevOps pipelines to Kubernetes (AKS) or Databricks.

Your responsibilities
