Your responsibilities

Develop standards, policies and procedures to support the creation and implementation of risk model data governance framework within CIB Data & Analytics.
Collaborate with stakeholders across CIB Data & Analytics teams to ensure adherence to model data governance policies and processes.
Define indicators of model data governance metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements
Define roles and responsibilities related to Data Governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of CIB Data & Analytics Platform data assets.
Ensure model data governance compliance for HSBC CIB risk models, in accordance with Data Management Standards
Collaborate with leadership across the CIB Data & Analytics to identify business needs and implement Data Governance and Data Stewardship capabilities
Serve as a liaison between Business, Modelling and Other Functional areas to ensure that data related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated and well understood.
Work on the delivery of Model Data Governance communication plans to help establish a cultural change in how risk model data governance is perceived and managed.

Our requirements

University degree in Computer Science or similar
3+ years of experience of embedding Data Governance processes and standards.
Experience with rolling out Data Governance frameworks and roadmaps, aligning and documenting data definitions, setting up a proper data governance organization, and Data Quality controls
Varied and detailed knowledge of Data Management areas such as Data Quality, Data Migration, Metadata Management etc.
Ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to enable continuous improvement culture.
Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills.
Knowledge of DMBOK. CDPM certification is a plus.
Fluency in English
