We are looking for an experienced Autoscaling Engineer to design, refine, and implement autoscaling solutions for our SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment. The role focuses on ensuring seamless scalability for mission-critical authentication and API traffic, where performance and reliability are key.

You will work closely with SAP BTP/Cloud Foundry pipelines and metrics, integrating autoscaling mechanisms into high-load environments with strong daily traffic peaks.

Your responsibilities

• Review and evaluate two autoscaling concepts, refine and implement the selected approach.
• Integrate autoscaling with SAP BTP/Cloud Foundry pipelines and metrics.
• Ensure stable performance of mission-critical OAuth2/OIDC authentication and authorization paths.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize scalability and prevent slowdowns during traffic peaks.

Our requirements

• Strong proficiency in Bash and Python.
• Proven experience with metrics- and event-driven autoscaling.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and Cloud Foundry integration.
• Direct experience with Cloud Foundry or SAP BTP environments.
• Knowledge of OAuth2 security and related mechanisms.
