Summary: The Mid Automotive Electronics Design Engineer role focuses on developing electronic solutions for automotive applications, specifically for advanced driver‑assist systems (ADAS) like Front View Cameras. This position aims to ensure high‑quality design and performance while maintaining cost‑effectiveness and facilitating collaboration across engineering teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Design electronic devices for automotive applications with a focus on low cost, high reliability, and high‑volume manufacturing.
- Create design documentation including schematics, PCBs, and electrical characteristics.
- Perform circuit calculations and simulations, followed by validation and prototype testing.
- Ensure on‑time execution of tasks according to Aptiv quality standards.
- Collaborate with local and remote engineering teams.
- Actively participate in peer reviews.
- Follow the Electrical Design Process.
- Commit to ongoing professional development.
- Protect confidential information and company property.
Key Requirements
- Engineering and/or Masters Degree in Electronics or a similar field.
- Experience in designing and testing digital and analog circuits, particularly microcontroller devices and medium‑power analog circuits.
- Practical skills in CAD and simulation tools.
- Proficient English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Integrity in dealings with the company and clients.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Background in electronics design for EMI/EMC compliance.
- Knowledge of high‑speed digital interfaces.
- Flexibility for availability if required.
