Senior Automotive Cybersecurity Architect

About the Role

The Automotive Cybersecurity Practice is looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Architect. We are putting our effort to reduce the gap between cybersecurity and automotive experts by providing training to them and consulting teams to support in achieving desired cybersecurity results. To do that we are forming a new Cybersecurity Training team in Lodz and would like you to join us. Our focus will be providing the most suitable training to customers to help their team develop a cybersecurity mindset and consulting for cybersecurity requirements.

If you are interested in conducting training and consulting for cybersecurity architecture or any related requirements in Automotive Cybersecurity, please join us to make a difference in automotive cybersecurity. You are always supported to explore our Automotive PenTest Lab or do your research.

What You Will Do:

1. Consult, present, and work with customers on various security projects and company internal initiatives.
2. Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), according to ISO 21434.
3. Analyze automotive systems, in-vehicle networks and components, OTA update systems, embedded systems/ECUs, and more.
4. Create cybersecurity requirements for Automotive products.
5. Create and conduct Cybersecurity Architecture or its subset training for customers.
6. Contribute to Whitepapers/Research/Tools.
7. Publish your research/Ideas/opensource tools into Conferences.
8. Mentor and coach colleagues in your area of expertise.

What You Need:

1. Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, IT security, or related discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years of work experience in embedded systems.
3. Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in Embedded security or IT security.
4. Practical knowledge of embedded systems.
5. Understanding of security protocols (e.g., TLS).
6. Knowledge of communication protocols such as BLE, CAN, etc.
7. Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++.
8. Practical knowledge of Linux and its internals.
9. Experience in developing security concepts and security requirements for Embedded systems.
10. Practical knowledge of Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment.
11. Knowledge of designing secure architecture and security controls.
12. Familiarity with Cryptography.
13. Good interpersonal and remote communication skills with teams and customers.
14. Fluent in English – speaking and writing.

1. Industry recognized Cybersecurity Certification.
2. Presentation/workshop in conferences/open communities.
3. Published Articles, research papers, Cybersecurity blogs/videos/tools.
4. Familiarity with regulations and standards:

• ISO 21434
• WP.29 (R155/R156)
