About the project

Create a cutting-edge testing scenarios for one of the most innovative financial institutions in Poland!

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model! (1 day in the office/ week)

As an Automation Tester you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the banking sector, contributing to the development of a high-traffic web application used daily by millions of customers. You will be part of a dedicated Test Automation Team focused on ensuring the reliability, stability, and security of digital banking services. In this role, you will work with modern testing tools, support continuous improvements in CI/CD processes, and collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and testers to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Your responsibilities

• Receive and validate automated test suites delivered by an external provider
• Maintain existing automated tests and ensure their long-term stability
• Develop new automated test cases using Playwright with TypeScript
• Enhance and evolve the testing framework in collaboration with the team
• Work with version control systems to manage test code
• Integrate tests into CI/CD workflows in cooperation with engineering teams
• Use JIRA, Xray, and Confluence to manage test processes and results
• Support continuous improvement of testing standards and best practices
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure test coverage
• Analyze test results and contribute to defect reporting and resolution

Our requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as a Test Automation Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript
• Experience working with version control systems, especially Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Knowledge of tools supporting the testing process (JIRA, Xray, Confluence)
• Ability to write clean, maintainable test code
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Good communication skills in a technical environment
