Due to the expansion of our consultancy business in Poland, we are looking for a skilled individual in the position of Java Developer. Candidates must be located and have the right to work in Poland.
The Opportunity
As an Automation Test Engineer, you will primarily work on Test Automation along with some Manual Testing activities. The role requires designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation packs for required functions/tools for HSBCnet.
What You’ll Do
- Designing & implementing test automation using Java Selenium WebDriver, IntelliJ, Maven, JUnit, and Cucumber.
- API testing with Postman/RestAssured/Tosca.
- Responsible for reviewing and updating the existing automation framework.
- Stabilizing the existing regression suite and updating it with the latest code base.
- Ensuring various regression packs are designed in sync with the releases and contributing to the maintenance of those regression packs.
- Support test transformation initiatives; reflect continuous improvement & implement best-in-class practices fit for the programme.
- Participate in Sprint planning sessions & provide sequencing for user story development to enable Test progress within the sprint.
- Provide an informed view into test estimation activity and test metrics by knowledge of the application, domain, and testing experience.
What You Will Need To Succeed In The Role - Key skills in Selenium with Java test automation experience.
- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- API testing experience with Postman/RestAssured/Tosca/Karate framework.
- Good OOP knowledge and clear Java concepts.
- Experience working in Agile with hands-on experience on JIRA tool.
- Experience in Manual Testing, creating test scenarios from requirement documents/user stories.
- Good analytical and planning skills.
- Understanding of business and organizational issues.
- Ability to continuously give feedback by stringently following up Performance Level Agreements.
What Additional Skills Will Be Good To Have? - Experience working on CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Integration to grid server and BrowserStack will be an added advantage.
