We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team, working on cutting-edge financial and web applications. The project involves developing and executing automated test scripts for web applications, ensuring high software quality in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The role is hybrid, based in Warsaw, with immediate availability required.

Automation Test Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Java, JavaScript, and Selenium WebDriver.
• Analyze business requirements to create and execute detailed test cases.
• Identify, document, and manage defects using bug-tracking tools (JIRA).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to ensure software quality.
• Execute tests and report on results, ensuring timely resolution of defects.
• Continuously improve the automation framework and testing strategies.
• Work with version control systems, especially Git, to manage test scripts.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in developing automated tests for web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming.
• Proficiency with automation tools, particularly Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with version control systems (GIT).
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of web application architecture.
• Familiarity with online banking processes is a plus.
• Ability to analyze requirements and design test cases accordingly.
• Strong defect identification, reporting, and management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with bug-reporting tools (JIRA).
• Knowledge of databases and SQL for validating test data.
