Job Opportunity: Automation Engineer – Production Line Builder
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our client’s team and take on a key role in developing and building a production line for manufacturing automotive components . The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automated systems that comply with EU safety regulations and automotive production standards . The position is based at our client’s plant near Lublin .
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automated production lines and related equipment for automotive manufacturing.
- Coordinate and define maintenance processes to ensure high operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with automation suppliers and internal departments to optimize and integrate new equipment.
- Analyze production needs and implement tailored automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with EU safety regulations and industry standards.
- Apply Lean principles to enhance automation efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Work closely with R&D teams to ensure production feasibility from the early product development stages.
What We’re Looking For - Proven experience in building and developing production lines (not just designing or programming equipment).
- Background in automation or production equipment companies, ideally in automotive.
- Experience in process definition and equipment development within production departments.
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and process optimization.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, KUKA, or EPSON is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of EU safety regulations for equipment.
- Ability to work in an intercultural environment and willingness to travel within Europe (~30%).
- Advanced English skills required; Polish is an advantage.
Additional Details - This is an on-site role initially, transitioning to a hybrid model after training.
- Competitive salary package offered.
- Immediate start preferred, but the company is open to waiting for the right candidate.
- Location: Candidates must be able to commute to Lublin area.
