- Development and transfer to manufacturing of automated assembly equipment to provide improved capacity, quality, yields and cost
- Hands‑on technical support of automated assembly equipment and processes at manufacturing locations
- Specification of new equipment and development of new processes, including co‑working with assembly equipment vendors
- Performing assessment of new equipment and processes
- Project management support for new processes and equipment introduction
Our requirements
- Educated in an engineering subject to degree level
- 5+ years’ experience of high precision assembly in automated assembly environments
- Familiarity with 6 Sigma, LEAN manufacturing methodologies, and Industry 4.0 technologies, including BI and SPC tools
- Proven experience in programming high precision electro‑mechanical control systems, including PLC controllers
- Experience in sequencing software and control systems
- Proven ability to develop new assembly processes and to transfer the processes to manufacturing
- Able to conceptualize assembly and automation methods and to understand interactions between components, processes and product performance
- Ability to read automatic, pneumatic and electrical diagrams
- Very good spoken and written English
- Able to deploy numerical, experimental and statistical problem‑solving abilities

- We are currently looking for experienced Automation Engineer. The role supports the development of high precision automated assembly processes, the transfer to manufacturing of processes and products, and the technical support of the assembly processes in manufacturing. The aim being to deliver improved capacity scalability and yields. The role works very closely with our design teams and production engineering slice and switch teams. Automation Engineer involves work across 2 manufacturing plants (Nawojowa Góra and Pisary).
