Automation Engineer in A&D Flexzone Eur&Afr Warsaw

We are now looking for an Automation Engineer with strong interpersonal skills and expertise in automation tools, with a commitment to customer focus, quality and innovation. If you would like to work in a multinational, supportive, highly qualified, and efficient team, the Internal Flex-zone Eur&Afr in Warsaw Automation Engineering office will be a great opportunity for you. As an Automation Engineer, you need PLC and HMI programming competences to work with engineering teams on designing, configuring, and testing complete automation solutions.

This position is based in Warsaw, Poland and requires traveling around Europe and Africa of up to 30 - 50 % yearly.

What you will do

  • Programming of PLC/HMI control systems.
  • Execute startup and commissioning of systems in conjunction with Process Engineer and Automation Project Leader at customer site.
  • Reviewing functional descriptions for software: PLC/HMI.
  • System design and support for creating HMI Applications and PLC programs to meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate electrical design with panel suppliers, analyze and assess quality control.
  • Provide ongoing customer support & troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Writing operating instruction manuals.
  • Conduct automation training for customer personnel on the installed systems.
  • Support of colleagues on automation aspects.
  • Ensuring a proper functioning of the control systems.

We believe you have

  • Experience and proven understanding of processing equipment and processes within the food/dairy industry.
  • Industry standards – S88 and S95.
