Our global cybersecurity group—Danaher Information Security (DIS)—is expanding into Europe. This strategic growth includes the launch of a 24/7 cybersecurity capability in Kraków, enabling global coverage and operational resilience across our enterprise through continuous improvement.

The Automation Developer is a new position that will play a pivotal role in deploying, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Danaher enterprise-wide cybersecurity orchestration and automation solutions.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Deliver Operational Priorities – Develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation playbooks, scripts, and integrations that support enterprise-wide cybersecurity event detection, response, and remediation activities.
  • Execute with Operational Excellence and Scalability – Develop solutions that are well-documented, modular, easy to maintain and expand as future automation needs grow.
  • Collaborate for Success– Partner with security operations, engineering and infrastructure peers across Danaher and all operating companies to streamline security operations workflows.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on automation, orchestration, or security tool integration.
  • Demonstrated experience with SOAR platforms including but not limited to Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel SOAR.
  • Demonstrated programming and scripting expertise including but not limited to Python, PowerShell.
  • Experience developing API integrations with common enterprise technologies and leveraging several API authentication methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud service providers including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience preparing and maintaining documentation, including but not limited to logical flow diagrams, operating procedures, and use case documentation.

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Previous software development, security operations or incident response experience.
  • Experience administering enterprise security platforms deployed on Windows, Linux, UNIX operating systems or containerized environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency leveraging regular expressions for parsing and pattern matching.
