Our client is a newly established SSC structure in Wroclaw, a part of a well-known company with a substantial presence in EMEA, known for inclusivity, innovation, and dedication to providing outstanding mobility services and performance.

Your responsibilities

Verifying the accuracy of a period-closing output (e.i. trial balances) and collaborating with local accounting teams to establish data formats and preparation methods, ensuring that local data can be translated for reporting purposes (in compliance to local GAAPs) while also providing the necessary IFRS bridge for group-level reporting.
Managing cooperation with local external advisors responsible for preparing complete financial statements, ensuring they are accurate, comprehensive, and delivered on time.
Serving as the main point of contact for local external audit partners, coordinating all activities required for a timely and successful outcome.
Streamlining reporting and audit processes, frameworks, tools in accordance to internal policies and procedures.
Acting as a process owner with full engagement and attention to ever-changing legal and financial environments.

Employer requirements

Proven track record in Statutory Accounting, Financial Reporting and/or as an External Audit Partner,
ACCA certification and practical knowledge of local EMEA GAAPs and IFRS,
Experience in managing statutory reporting, coordinating financial statement preparation and external audits directly with local auditors in multiple EMEA jurisdictions simultaneously,
Excellent communication and stakeholders management skills,
Experience in running multi-country processes and supervising output of remote, dispersed both internal and external teams.
Fluency in English is a must-have, additional European languages are nice to have.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently.
