A part of Pacific Century Group, bolttech serves customers in multiple markets across North America, Asia and Europe. Our IT R&D team in the Polish part of bolttech consists of over 60 people, including Developers, PMs, Leaders, and Testers. We create software for internal business needs, including integration with external partners. The QA team consists of 14 people, among whom 3 are responsible for test automation. With the increasing number of projects, automation is essential for effective quality management, which is why we decided to strengthen this area. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the teams competencies (manual and automated tests), improving test efficiency, upgrading the test automation framework, increasing the efficiency of their creation and reuse, raising standards in the CI/CD area, and automating regression tests. As a leader, you will take care of the teams motivation, build an effective structure, delegate tasks, and select new members for your team to ensure the highest quality and security of IT solutions. # Quality Management: Establishing and maintaining a quality management system, planning and conducting internal quality audits, and ensuring that quality control procedures are implemented during every step of the production process
# Test Automation: Improving the efficiency of test automation, upgrading the automated test framework, increasing the efficiency of test creation and reuse, and automating regression tests
# Working closely with various groups within the organization, including marketing, product, engineering, purchasing, HR, security and legal counsel, to ensure that the product meets customer expectations and complies with all relevant regulations
# Analyzing and assessing team work results for the purpose of optimizing organizational processes and performing statistical analysis of test results
# Backlog management: Planning, managing tasks and dependencies (system and team), conflict management, delegating and ensuring that the company has adequate resources to meet its obligations A bachelors degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
# Experience: Several years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. Minimum 2 years as a manager of a testing team.
# Technical Skills: Proficiency in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA QA plugins or Quality Center. Strong foundation and expertise in test automation (Selenium (grid), Cucamber, TestNG, etc).
# Leadership and Management: The ability to lead and motivate a team of testers, manage dependencies, and handle conflict management. The QA Lead should also be capable of building an effective team structure and delegating tasks efficiently.
# Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with various groups within the organization, including marketing, engineering, and legal counsel. The QA Lead should also be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure software flaws are corrected. Very good communication skills in Polish and English (minimum C1).
# Quality Management: Establishing and maintaining a quality management system and procedures, planning and conducting internal quality audits, and ensuring that quality control procedures are implemented during every step of the production process. Raising standards in the CI/CD area, shifting tests left, ensuring the availability of required tools, and taking appropriate corrective actions on identified problems.
