This person will be hired to deal with the upcoming new requirements related to the EU Deforestation Regulation. Given the need to have Due Diligence Statements as a condition to purchase and sell certain Ecolab products produced out of commodities which are related to Deforestation, this person will deal with the internal and external work connected to those requirements.

Ensure operational compliance with EU Deforestation Regulation requirements through handling, maintaining and submitting to the EU Commission TRACE system Due Diligence Statements provided by our suppliers or issued by Ecolab.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the new material creation process, ensuring that all relevant materials are categorized and managed according to EUDR requirements
  • Manage PO/SO blocks on a daily basis within SAP
  • Maintain DDS# in the systems
  • Apply for DDS# in TRACES for different Ecolab/Nalco
  • Escalation of non-compliance cases
  • Participate in supplier due diligence assessments
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory, Sustainability, and Customer Service
  • Main point of contact for different departments for any EUDR-related questions (e.g. from Customer Service, Material Planners)
  • Handle direct customer requests (product portfolio impacted, prioritisation of key customers orders)
  • Supporting non-integrated businesses

What You Will Need

  • A higher degree in a related technical discipline
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar field
  • Fluent in English
  • Good knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an asset
