Summary:

As an Associate Engineer in the Ecosystem Testing team, you will collaborate with your team mates on automation of ecosystem tests in software environment. You’ll get familiar with a wide range of Dolby products and will learn how they interoperate. You’ll support tools and tests development in Python and other technologies. In our high-end labs you’ll get a chance to hear and see how the greatest experience is being created.

We are seeking a skilled Associate Engineer to join the team on a fixed-term basis - 18-months fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement automatic ecosystem tests,
2. Implement new testing tools,
3. Utilize and adapt existing test automation tools,
4. Setup, configure and execute ecosystem test suites,
5. Develop, configure and maintain software testing frameworks,
6. Develop, configure and maintain testing hardware park,
7. Report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering team to isolate and resolve issues,
8. Generate documentation and automate generation process,
9. Support other employees with using the ecosystem testing framework.

Qualifications:

1. B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience,
2. Experience in Python programming,
3. Basic experience with Windows and Linux operating systems,
4. Basic knowledge and interest in Test Engineering practices and processes,
5. Basic knowledge of signals processing,
6. Good English spoken and written communication skills,
7. Positive attitude and willingness to solve challenging problems.

Nice to have:

1. Experience with py.test,
2. Knowledge of popular Python packages,
3. Experience with versioning systems like Git,
4. Audio and/or video coding and processing interest.
