You will lead digital innovation and third party oversight to reduce risk and improve how we work. You will work across technology, legal, procurement, and business partners in India and globally. Responsibilities
- Innovation Leadership
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative strategies and initiatives to enhance third‑party oversight and risk management processes.
- Foster a culture of innovation across the department by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve GSK’s risk management capabilities.
- Third Party Oversight
- Develop and maintain a robust third‑party oversight framework that aligns with GSK’s standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence and ongoing monitoring of third‑party vendors and partners.
- Ensure third‑party compliance with GSK’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure third‑party performance meets GSK’s expectations and promptly address any issues or breaches.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve and optimize third‑party risk management frameworks.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in third‑party risk management and innovation.
- Drive the adoption of innovative tools and technologies to enhance risk management and oversight processes.
- Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with third‑party engagements through proactive risk management strategies.
- Design risk management strategies and action plans to minimize potential threats.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures that are integrated into business processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure risk management practices are integrated into business processes.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management strategies, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Strategic Leadership –
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in external working groups to develop common principles and standards to support clinical data transparency and data sharing and be a leader for GSK with industry‑leading strategies in data transparency.
- Maintain knowledge and expertise in Data Disclosure environment (Publications ethics and Data Disclosure). Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to strengthen GSK practices for Policy requirements in line with relevant internal and external requirements.
- Develop strategies involving technology implementation and set targets to match the vision of an organization, creation of future business plans and required actions. Provide key insights on the industry disclosure policies on clinical trials by benchmarking the disclosure policies of the competitors.
- Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to third‑party risk management.
- Provide expert guidance and support to leadership on matters related to third‑party oversight and risk management.
- Establish strong relationships with internal business partners such as medical writers, risk councils, auditors involved in the audits of clinical trial transparency processes.
- Represent GSK in industry forums and with external stakeholders to share best practices and drive industry standards.
- Process Excellence
- Drive the processes for transparency activities leading to timely, accurate and high‑quality information posted to public websites.
- Establish and integrate consistent processes across Clinical Trial Transparency. Maintain oversight for processes improvement/ efficiencies for the transparency function according to evolving requirements.
- Bring specialized knowledge of global transparency requirements and standards and provide guidance on best practices to ensure quality of information shared publicly and ensure compliance with defined requirements.
- Business Performance Monitoring
- Establish and track key performance indicators that demonstrate compliance with applicable disclosure as per regulations and internal policy.
- Have an oversight of KPIs for continuous improvement across disclosure.
- Monitor the third‑party risks and assure that the third parties are well equipped to provide services efficiently to Clinical Trial Transparency while protecting the integrity and privacy of the GSK data.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 12‑15 years of experience in a Pharma / clinical environment.
- Master’s Degree - Life sciences or Pharmaceutical sciences or Clinical Research
- At least 6‑8 years of experience in third‑party risk management, compliance, or a related field, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
- A strong understanding across all aspects of clinical trial transparency and data sharing
- Expertise in Project Management
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in Pharmaceutical company environment and specifically in matrix, global, multi‑cultural organization
- Experience in data visualization
- Agility and good learning skills

We are looking for someone who will bring steady leadership, technical curiosity and practical problem solving. This role is hybrid, with a mix of office and remote work in India; you will be expected to visit the office and suppliers as required.
The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 288,750 to PLN 481,250 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non‑discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law. Other benefits may also be offered, which may include private healthcare, additional paid days off, life insurance, private pension plan and fully paid parental leave & care of family member leave.
