Offer Description
The competition may be joined by those who meet the conditions of the Act from 20.07.2018 specified in the Law on Higher Education (t.j. Dz. U. z 2024 r. poz. 1571).
Candidates Should Have:
- Hold a PhD in English linguistics.
- Have documented experience in teaching at a University, in particular in the field of practical English language teaching and American cultural studies.
- Have scientific and research achievements in the field of English linguistics.
- Be available for full-time employment.
- Commitment to take up employment at PANS in Chełm as the primary place of work will be additionally scored.
- Have a command of spoken and written English enabling them to conduct classes independently in that language.
- Have a fluent command of Polish (if the candidate is not a Polish citizen – confirmation of language proficiency is required).
- Have the availability to perform work on dates specified in the schedule of teaching and organizational work.
- Have proficient computer skills, including knowledge of applications for conducting distance learning classes.

- Copy of the university graduation diplomas (copies or Xerox copies certified as true copy).
- Candidate’s written consent on full time employment in The University College of Applied Sciences in Chelm.
- Statement of fulfillment of requirements of the article 113, Act from 20.07.2018 specified in the Law on Higher Education (t.j. Dz. U. z 2024 r. poz. 1571).
- A statement that the candidate consents to the processing of personal data for the needs necessary to carry out the recruitment process, in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the European Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation / RODO).
- Nepotism Statement.
- A declaration of no criminal record for the offences specified in Chapter XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 17, as amended) and in the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939, as amended), or for prohibited acts corresponding to these offences specified in the provisions of foreign law.
- Statement on the functioning of the internal reporting and follow-up procedure at the University.
Documents should be submitted until 09.01.2026 to the University College of Applied Sciences Office, 54 Pocztowa Street, room 112, between 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled "contest for the position of Assistant professor – linguistics 2".
Submission will be examined by 30.01.2026. Planned date of employment: 25.02.2026.
