Skills/Qualifications
Requirements for candidates:
A person who meets the requirements specified in the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20/07/2018, Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668 art. 113 and 116 section 2. point 3. meeting the following eligibility criteria:
- A candidate entering the competition must have at least a doctoral degree in computer science, technical computer science and telecommunications or a related field in the field of engineering and technical sciences.
- Have scientific achievements in the discipline of computer science or technical computer science and telecommunications.
Specific Requirements
- The candidate should have knowledge and skills in the field of IT,
- The candidate should have knowledge of the Polish language at a level enabling him to conduct teaching classes.
- An additional advantage will be achievements in managing research projects, as well as experience in applying for external funds for research and teaching experience.

Required documents:
Candidates for assistant professor for research and teaching should submit the following documents:
- An application addressed to the Rector UKW
- A personal questionnaire, constituting Annex No. 1 to Regulation No. 43/2018/2019 of the Rector of the UKW of June 14, 2019;
- A photo;
- Document confirming the M.A’s degree;
- Copies of employment certificates from completed employment relationships;
- A statement that in the event of employment, the UKW will be the primary place of work of the academic teacher, on the template constituting Annex 2 to Regulation No. 43/2018/2019 of the UKW Rector of 14 June 2019;
- Documents confirming the fulfillment of additional requirements specified in the competition announcement;
- Information on scientific, didactic, organizational and staff training achievements,
- Fluency in Polish spoken and written is required for foreigners,
- Statement on meeting the requirements of art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2019 Law on Higher Education and Science, on the template constituting Annex 3 to Regulation No. 43/2018/2019 of the Rector of the UKW of 14 June 2019:
- has full legal capacity,
- has not been punished by a final court judgment for an intentional crime or intentional tax offense,
- he was not punished with a disciplinary penalty specified in the Act on Higher Education and Science of 20. 07. 2018, Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668 art. 276 paragraph 1 point 7 and 8,
- Statement on the awareness of criminal liability related to the confirmation of untruth (Article 233 of the Penal Code) on the template constituting Annex 4 to the ordinance No. 43/2018/2019 of the Rector of the UKW of 14 June 2019.
Selection process

All documents should be prepared or translated into Polish.
Documents confirming obtaining a professional title, academic degree, academic title or equivalent, obtained abroad, should meet the equivalence requirements specified in art. 326, art. 327 or article. 328 of the Act on Higher Education and Science of 20.07.2018

Additional information:
- Documents submitted after the submission deadline will not be considered.
- Documents should be submitted to the secretariat in person or by an authorized person.
- On the basis of the documents provided, the selection board will make a selection in accordance with the regulations in force at the university.
- The Faculty of Computer Science reserves the right to cancel the competition without giving any reason.
- Winning the competition does not guarantee employment.
