Applications are invited from those who fulfil the statutory requirements specified in the Higher Education Act from 20th July 2018 (Dz. U. z 2018 r., poz. 1668) and the statutes of the University of Wroclaw.

Requirements

• Documented significant publication achievements in journals from the JCR list.
• Didactic internship (exercises, field classes) at the academic level; experience in conducting classes in the field of plant systematics, plant ecology.
• Participation in scientific conferences.
• Good knowledge of English.
• The scientific research conducted must fall within the discipline of the biological sciences.
• Knowledge of Polish to the extent that it is possible to conduct didactic activities in that language.

Responsibilities

In the research area

• Conducting research activities in the field of botany.
• Dissemination of research results in the form of scientific publications in journals indexed in SCOPUS or Web of Science.
• Participation in scientific conferences/symposiums (domestic and foreign).

In the teaching area

• Preparation and conduct of didactic classes in the field of botany.
• Participation in workshops and trainings improving didactic qualifications and professional competences.

In the organizational area

The application for the competition should include

• Photocopy(s) of diploma confirming obtaining doctoral degree.
• Statement that the University of Wroclaw will be the primary place of work in the case of winning the competition (download Workplace Statement ).
• Declaration of the discipline in which the candidate will conduct research and in the case of people conducting research in more than one discipline the percentage of their involvement in each of these disciplines (download Declaration of scientific discipline ).
• Self-presentation (information about scientific, organizational, and other achievements).
• List scientific publications in the last ten years.
• Electronic versions of the two most important publications that the candidate considers representative of his or her scientific achievements or an explanation of the lack of them.
• Application for employment addressed to HM Rector.
